All credit for this build is going to be given to Mumbo Jumbo. I highly recommend looking at  his YouTube channel and possibly even subscribing!

First start with a 4×8 area.

paltform

Then go up two blocks and place a sticky piston.

piston 1

Now make a tower of these leaving one space in between each one. I am only going to use six in this example. You, however, can use as many as you want.

6 pistons

Next add more sticky pistons in a staggered pattern.

stagger pistons

When this step is done it should look like this.

Now add normal pistons to the faces of the sticky pistons.

normal pistons

When completed it should look like this.

all the way

Next, in the spaces between the normal pistons, place any block.

fill in

Then place an immovable object on top of each side. Immovable just means that it can’t be pushed by a piston. In this tutorial I will be using obsidian, but you can use things like furnaces or chests.

Now, after you have done all that, add a block here…

start stagger

and make another staggering pattern.

full stagger

Now add redstone torches to THE SIDE WITH THE PISTONS FIRST! Place them in between the blocks like so.

add torches

Now add torches to the other side. You should notice that the torches that were on are now off.

then the other side

Then just do the same thing to the other side.

again on this side

Next place blocks in between where the pistons are and place redstone like this.

add redstone to blue

Then place blocks in front of those.

front blocks

On the other side place blocks & add redstone but make sure that the blocks are between the pistons. THEY DO NOT LINE UP WITH THE OTHER SIDE!

blobs

Again, place a row of blocks in front of that.

front blocks both sides

Next place glass in front of the elevator and…

add glass

add a button down here…

le button

add this wiring…

up done

then go to the back and place two blocks with a repeater going into a block and redstone coming from the green block with the repeater in the picture above.

timing

IF YOU WANT YOU CAN STOP HERE. THIS IS THE ENTIRE “UP” CIRCUIT. BUT, IF YOU WANT TO, YOU CAN CONTINUE TO MAKE THE DOWN CIRCUIT.

To make the down circuit take some slabs, repeaters, & redstone then just follow this pattern.

For the first part of the pattern go to the top and make a 2 x 2 platform.

down 1

Then, on that platform, place two repeaters going into the pistons and then some redstone behind those. MAKE SURE THAT YOU ADD THE TICKS TO THE REPEATERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

down 2

Once that has been done it should look like this.

down 3

ALSO NOTE

down 4

Next add another row with redstone but make it 3 wide this time.

down 5

Once this is added to all layers it will look like this.

down 6

Now go back and add a slab like this.

down 7

Once in place add these blocks, redstone, & repeaters.

down 8

Then just add another slab & redstone…

DOWN 10

and repeat the pattern all the way down like this.

down done

Then to wire the button, add these two blocks and buttons…

down button 1

Then go to the back and add these slabs & redstone…

down button 2

then these blocks with redstone…

down button 3

and this slab with redstone and you’re all done!!!!!!

DONE DONE DONE!!!!!!

Please leave a good review in the comments because HOLY CRAP THIS TOOK A LONG TIME!!!!

I also made a YouTube video, check it out!
