For the longest time I couldn’t figure out how to download other peoples worlds, then I smacked myself once I found out how easy it really was.

BE VERY CAREFUL NOT TO DOWNLOAD ANY MALWARE IN THIS PROCESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SOME SITES ARE NOT TO BE TRUSTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First open the libraries icon in your task bar.

taskbar

Once it is open, click the local disc button

15-8

Then search minecraft

15-9

Note that if you have a lot of crap on your computer it will take longer to search. But, if you’re like me, all you do is play minecraft so this won’t take very long.

15-10

Once the results have loaded double click the one that looks like this.

15-11

Now double click the “saves” button and you will see all the worlds that you already have all stored in here.

15-12

Yes, I have downloaded a few others too.

15-13

Now, keeping this window open, go to YouTube or wherever site and find the link to download.

15-1

In this tutorial I am downloading sethbling’s 15 seconds map.

Once on his site, I find the download and click it.

15-3

ONce that has been clicked you will see this pop up in the task bar.

15-4

When selected it will open a window like this.

15-5

Now you can close your browser and have just the two save files open. When they’re both open, select whatever you’re going to download and drag it into the “saves” file.

15-6

It should appear in the file, if not try again but make sure that you don’t drag it over anything else and release it in an open spot.

15-14

Now, if you open minecraft, you should see the new world there.
